Little Ones

I was chatting with my sister Nicole this morning, and during that time had my first ‘phone call’ with Sarah. She didn’t say much, maybe a few mumbly words that I couldn’t comprehend, but at the end I heard Nicole say “say bye bye”, and WHAM she said it. :-)

It was damn cute, made me want to give her a big hug.. or have a little daughter of my own.

Sarah at Christmas in 2004:

A wise Canadian friend…

Rob just iChatted me this:

“Man was created with a God shaped vacuum that nothing else can satisfy.. And that is certainly my experience”

Nice.. I completely agree with that, I even mentioned something similar to that in my testimony to 40 high school kids last night. :-)

Bigha and Lasers

There’s an interesting discussion going on over at Bigha’s blog. Go and read the posts.

Basically people are blaming them for innovation, producing a laser that can be used by people to act foolishly.

Go read about the interview Noah had with Jim Wright, a reporter for the New Jersey Daily record.

Read this post by John – which really shows that Bigha has people working there that are smart, well educated, and responsible. ie. ADULTS.

I don’t know why, but people that blame companies for their stupidity really bothers me. Folks, God gave you a brain (if you believe in God, I do), please start using it. If you shine a laser at a plane, do you think people aren’t going to try and find you and arrest you for terrorism? David Banach should be ashamed of himself.. oh ya, lying to the FBI.. sigh.. David, you, out of the gene pool!!!!!

The positive side of this whole thing is the Bigha blog – it’s given me a ton more respect for the company that sells the ‘funny looking’ bikes. Enough that if/when I were to get a new bike, I’m going to get one from Bigha. Scoble was right, company blogs do have the power to get the word out on potential bad press.

Thank you for reading.. back to the normal boring web log I normally have.

Movies By Jenn

A passion of Jennifer these days is movies & multimedia. She likes working at Nike, but I think her ideal job would be doing video editing, or putting together movies all day. (Feel free to offer her a job doing this if you want to).

To that end, she’s started a new part time gig: Movies By Jenn. Go check it out, ask her some questions, and maybe get her to do a movie for you. She’s figuring out the rates now, but they seem pretty reasonable to me for the quality.

Of course I’m biased, but I think you’ll agree that her work is pretty impressive.
