It’s amazing how a hurricane 4000 miles away can affect you – I know personally of two people who are going to be affected by this, our tech lead on QuickBooks (he’s from Florida, and his family is still out there, directly in it’s path, his house on the water), and a student friend I met at Entheos, the church high school group I volunteer with). He is holed up in a house in Orlando, expecting the big winds to start very soon.

Scary.. I’ve always wanted to go through a hurricane, but now that I think about a good friend loosing his house and all his stuff.. maybe not now.
