My Address Book plugin..

Just got my little address book plugin working.. yaa!!! I’ll try to post it over the long weekend, i want to put in some more error checking before I release it to the wild, and setup a small software web page that looks semi reasonable.

Stay tuned to this bat channel for more info. :-)

Gmail

So, I have a Gmail account. (From a friend at work). It’s pretty nice, very quick in moving around and creating new emails.

But, I’m finding, it’s yet another email address that I need to check. I have most of my email accounts set up in Apple’s Mail.app, but my yahoo and gmail accounts I still check via the web..

And it’s tiring, you know? If I want to check all my new email, it’s a good 10 minute process to go through everything..

Got me thinking – how many email addresses does one person really need?

Address Book plug in..

.. I had an idea a few days ago for an Address Book plug in. I started it Wednesday night.. I’m going to see if I can finish it tonight..

Although crap, it’s 1am.. probably not.. but I’m still pretty wired..

(Note: Jennifer should be in Tokyo right now, if not already on the plane to Seattle. Then one more flight to Portland, and she’s home! Ya!)

Calgary is in the Stanley Cup Playoffs!

I missed the game, but got some text messages from yahoo when goals where scored. It sounded like a pretty good game.

For those of you who are wondering why I care, I was born and raised in Calgary. So I’ve got the “Flames Fan” in my blood. :-)

Although I’ve totally missed this “hard hat” thing. I couldn’t find a reasonable link to describe what this means, but at the end of every Flames game, one player is awarded the ‘hard hat’ award, for pushing hard, working well, and being an outstanding performer.. Fans in the Saddledome (or whatever it’s called now) are starting to (or have been) wearing them to games.

Tumult HyperEdit 1.0

This html editing application looks really, really neat. Nice and lightweight, it looks like a really simple, yet powerful html editor.

And the funny thing (kinda?) is that I was just thinking over the past few days, I wish there was a really easy, simple html editor that I could use for my website, and a few other pages I want to put up.

Cocoa

The first editing of this book just helped me a ton today..

I’m glad it was around, and I just noticed an updated version is out on Amazon. I’ll have to check out the differences and see about getting the new version (since I’m actually all the Cocoa books I bought these days at work).
