Apple

So, this whole 10.2.8 thing – people have been writing their opinions of it all over the net.

Some people are complaining that Apple hasn’t released a fix for these problems.. Sigh, he just don’t get it.

Software takes time. The last thing Apple needs right now is to rush out a 10.2.8.1, or a 10.2.9, and break other stuff. They need to take their time, figure out what went wrong, produce a new build, and test the crap out of it. Then release it.

Then given everybody at Apple 3 weeks paid holiday. Call it a payback for no raises the past few years, and working their asses off during that time.

At least, that’s what I’d do.

Sunriver Oregon

Jennifer and I this past weekend went to Sunriver, Oregon with 3 other couples in our mariners group. We drove down Friday night, and left Sunday morning. Stayed in a really neat house, I should have took pictures of that too!

I was a little scared, you know, any kind of long trip with people you don’t know, can be bad. :-) But it turn out really well.

We chatted until about 11pm on Friday, then woke up and had a big breakfast, and then we walked down to the river with the dogs.

After that, everybody except Jennifer went golfing – there’s nothing like golfing with 2 other guys for bonding – loads of fun, let me tell you! Heh heh.

Here are some pictures (Ofoto.com) of the weekend, at least the walk along the river. Somehow I forgot to take pictures of anything else!
