Scientists and medical personnel at the University of Calgary are using a 3.0 Tesla whole-body magnet, roughly 60,000 times the strength of the earth’s magnetic field, to unravel the mysteries of stroke, cancer, multiple sclerosis and other diseases affecting the brain. [May 15] [Apple Hot News]
