Unexpected Day off of Work
So right now at work, we are in 24x7 Support. Well, actually it just turned out that it was 24 hour support for one day. I have a big "Go-Live" over Thanksgiving Weekend and the Dry Run, or Dress Rehearsal, was this weekend. On Thursday, when I left work, I thought it was going to be a very busy weekend and then on Friday when I got to work, life got much easier. It turned out that my 3:00 AM to 9:00 AM shift that I was suppose to have on Saturday Morning became an on-call shift, meaning that I had to leave my phone number on the Status Line. So on Monday Night, I worked 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM and was expecting to have to go back tonight at 8:00 PM. At 1:00 PM this afternoon, Lucien came in and woke me up and told be that I didn't have to go to work today. That was nice surprise. So basically I had a free day.
